State Champions

The Town of Winchester is proud to have both its boys and girls high school tennis teams as state champions this spring. At a ceremony at Town Hall last evening, the Board of Selectmen recognized this significant achievement and presented team members with a commemorative medal. The Town is proud of all its student athletes and teams this past year. Winning a state championship is an historic event that will be forever recorded in the annals of the Town and in the memories of all players and coaches.

Three Winchester High School teams are vying for tournament championships this week. The Girls Lacrosse, Boys Tennis and Girls Tennis teams are all competing for state regional championships this week. Good luck to all teams as they compete. Regardless of the outcome, your community is proud of your efforts and spirit.
