Town Meeting Begins

On April 28, Winchester’s 169th Town Meeting will commence. Beginning at 7:30 PM in Winchester High School, Town Moderator John Sullivan will gavel the meeting to order and 192 elected Town Meeting Members will consider thirty articles on the Warrant (agenda). These will include a full range of issues facing the Town of Winchester, including zoning, acceptance of state laws and the budget. Sessions of Town Meeting are held on consecutive Mondays and Thursdays until the business on the Warrant is concluded.

A Motion Book is published listing each article, the proposed motions and an explanation of the issue.
